“ERSATZ IST BESSER", the 002 of ARCHE Z is still no James Bond. But a real “Pax te Deum&Mac184; or “Pas de Deux" by Christian Wolfarth and Franz Aeschbacher.

In addition to the conventional, “ERSATZ IST BESSER" uses unconventional drumsets. Brooms, tins, brushes, angelhair, glasssplinters, chaines and hangers, coconuts, fruitpeels, sponges and pickaxe. Its noisy, it bites, it rages and raves, glows and glimmers as it always does where ever extremes are crashing. Frogs ask: “Should we pop, bang, crack or croak?" Hollow and metallic ether vibrates. No style at all. In a rolling enterprise a new confounded reality was created. Because the world has lost its trace, din gets transformed to sonatas space. Music for reajustement.
